On the roadmap

Schedule B (donor lists) is prepared manually where a return requires it. State business returns roll out as each state's certification completes.

States we cover

Your federal return, plus a growing list of state returns — and if you live in a no-income-tax state, a federal filing is all you need.

Full state return No state income tax

Full state returns

Every U.S. state that has an income tax — plus Washington, D.C. — individual and business, each built to that state's own forms and rates. From California and Texas-adjacent markets to New York, the whole country is covered.

No state return needed

Live in one of these states? A federal return is all you file: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming.

Individual & business

Every full-filing state covers both sides — the individual return and the entity return (S-corp, partnership and C-corp), built to each state's own forms and rates. Each state's transmission opens as its certification completes.

Federal and state e-filing launch as our IRS and state approvals complete. Estimates are for planning; a licensed preparer reviews and files your final return.

Own a business? Keep your books here

Track income and expenses through the year, and your preparer files your Schedule C straight from your records — no shoebox of receipts, no year-end scramble.

1

Keep your books by year

Add income and expenses as you go — daily entries, or one monthly total per category. We add it all up for you.

2

Mark the year ready

When a year is done, mark it ready. Your net profit is calculated, and your books are saved and locked so nothing files by mistake.

3

Your preparer files it

A licensed preparer picks up your books and files your Schedule C — reviewed and e-filed, straight from your numbers.

Encrypted & private

Your documents and details are encrypted at rest. We never sell your data.

Your own secure portal

Upload documents, message your preparer, and track what happens next — from any device.

All 50 states & D.C.

Full individual and business returns for every U.S. state with an income tax, plus Washington, D.C. — coast to coast. No-income-tax states need only a federal return.

Questions, answered

How does it work?

Upload a photo or PDF of your W-2 or 1099 and we read the numbers automatically. You'll see your estimated federal and state refund right away. A licensed preparer then reviews everything, asks any questions in your secure portal, and files the final return.

How much does it cost?

Seeing your estimate is free. Your preparer's fee depends on the complexity of your return (a simple W-2 costs less than a self-employed or business return), and you'll always know the price before anything is filed — no surprises.

Is my information secure?

Yes. Your documents and personal details are encrypted at rest, your portal supports two-factor login, and every file action is logged. We never sell your data.

Which states can you file?

We prepare your federal return plus full state returns for every U.S. state with an income tax, and Washington, D.C. If you live in a state with no income tax — Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington or Wyoming — a federal return is all you need. We're adding full filing for more states as each certification completes.

What documents do I need?

Typically your W-2 and any 1099s, a photo ID, last year's return if you have it, and details for any dependents. Your portal shows you exactly what to upload — and you can add documents any time.

Do I have to come into an office?

No. The whole process works online from your phone or computer through your secure portal. If you'd rather talk it through, we're happy to help by phone too.
